Removing
1 Install turning device (1) on timing case.
Only with transmission installed.

2 Set marking (arrow) on drive shaft power take-off to 10 o-clock.
With the transmission installed, crank the engine using the turning device (); with the transmission removed, crank the input shaft.

3 Remove power take-off input shaft (2) with ball bearing (5) and oil pump cap (3).
4 Remove oil pump cap (3) and O-ring (4) of power take-off input shaft (2).
5 Remove circlip (6) and pull ball bearing (5) off power take-off input shaft (2) using puller.
Install
6 Install oil pump cap (3) and new O-ring (4).
The markings (arrows) on the oil pump cap (3) and the housing must match.
7 Heat ball bearing (5) to max. 80 °C, slide onto power take-off input shaft (2) and secure using circlip (6).
8 Install power take-off input shaft (2).
The markings (arrows) on the drive shaft power take-off (2) must be in the 10 o-clock position.
