Disassemble/assemble power take-off drive shaft

Disassemble

Remove tapered roller bearing (24).

 The following tools are required for removal: The  hydraulic cylinder, the  adapter, the  adapter,  hand pump,  hydraulic hose (complete) and  gripper.

Pry tapered roller bearing (32) off drive shaft (26).

Remove sliding sleeve (30).

Remove gearwheel (28) and driver (31).

Remove needle bearings (27, 29) from drive shaft (26).

Assembly

Lubricate needle bearings (27, 29) and mount onto drive shaft (26).

Mount gear (28) onto drive shaft (26).

Install driver (31) at drive shaft (26).

 Round toothing must face towards the output.

Install sliding sleeve (30).

 Round toothing (A) must face towards the drive.

Heat tapered roller bearing (32) to approx. 80 °C, mount onto drive shaft (26) and readjust using suitable drift.

Heat tapered roller bearing (24) to approx. 80 °C, mount onto drive shaft (26) and readjust using suitable drift.
