Disassemble

1

Remove retaining ring (1) from shaft (2).

Press out shaft (2) using suitable drift (3).

Remove ball bearing (6) with  puller (4) and  counter stay (5).

 Lay shims under  counter stay (5).
Otherwise the bearing housing may be damaged.

Remove circlip (7) and sleeve (8).

Use suitable drift to drive out ball bearing (9).

Remove radial shaft sealing rings (10, 11) from bearing housing (12).

Assembly

Use suitable drift (13) to drive ball bearing (9) into bearing housing (12).

Insert sleeve (8) and fit circlip (7) into radial groove.

Drive ball bearing (6) using a suitable drift up to the axial contact surface on the retaining ring (7) into the bearing housing (12).

Install inner radial shaft sealing ring (11) in the bearing housing using a suitable drift.

 Observe installation depth (A) of inner radial shaft sealing ring (11) in bearing housing.

Install outer radial shaft sealing ring (10) flush with the bearing housing using  drift (16).

Fill space behind radial shaft sealing rings (10, 11) with lubricant.

Prop up bearing inner race and use suitable drift to press shaft (2) into bearing housing.

Insert retaining ring (1) into shaft (2).
