| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove front section of left front fender liner. | ||
2 | Remove vacuum lines (3). | ||
3 | Unlock switchover valve (1) (arrow) and unclip. | ||
4 | Remove the switchover valve (1). | To do this, disconnect electrical connector (2). | |
5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. | |
6 | Check function of switchover valve (1) with engine running. | To do so, switch power take-off on and off. |
