Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Remove retaining bracket from propeller shaft

Remove propeller shaft to rear axle from transfer case and tie up on substructure

Remove propeller shaft to front axle from transfer case

Remove transfer case.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (4).

Installation: Coat sealing lip with automatic transmission fluid.

Install in the reverse order

Unscrew oil filler screw (5) and check transmission oil level, correct if necessary

The transmission oil must be at the oil filler hole.
