1 Pull out shift piston (1) with piston rod to stop.
2 Install shift cylinder without sealing rings (3 and 4).
Only slide shift cylinder far enough into the transmission housing (2) until it contacts the shift piston (1).
3 Measure depth of counter bore on PTO housing (6), dimension "A".
4 Measure protrusion of shift cylinder on transmission housing (2), dimension "B".
5 Determine size of shim (5) to be installed.
The shim (5) to be installed must be thicker by the adjustment dimension than the value specified in the table "C".
Dimension "C" = dimension "A" dimension "B"
6 Remove shift cylinder again.
