1 Install cylindrical actuator (1) without sealing rings (3).
2 Fit shift cylinder (1) on shift piston (2).
3 Measure dimension "A".

4 Install circlip (4).
5 Using internal extractor and counter stay, pull out shift cylinder (1) until circlip (4) touches outer surface of the radial groove.
6 Measure dimension "B".
7 Remove circlip (4).
8 Remove shift cylinder (1) and detach the internal extractor with counter stay from the shift cylinder (1).
9 Determine size of shim to be installed.
The required shim must be a size thicker than dimension "C" equivalent to the adjustment value given in the table.
Dimension "C" = dimension "A" dimension "B"
10 Install shift cylinder (1) with two new sealing rings.
Coat sealing rings with synthetic grease
11 Insert shim of size determined with spacer washer.
12 Install circlip (4).
