Detach sealing ring (2) from shift piston (1)
Installation: Pack cavity between the two sealing lips of sealing ring (2) with lubricant. For a brown sealing ring (2) use synthetic grease and for a black sealing ring (2) use Klueber grease.

Remove shift piston (1)
Heat shift piston (1) to approx. 80 °C to enable the thread locking compound to dissolve.
Installation: Secure shift piston (1) using thread locking compound.
Shift piston to range group shift rod
