2 | Detach connector for transmission (X29) at bracket (5) | ||
3 | Detach connector for retarder (X40) at gear control (GS) control unit (A16) | Only on vehicles with code (BA9) Voith secondary retarder R115. | |
4 | Disconnect transmission oil lines from transmission and seal using suitable stop plugs | Only on vehicles with code (N55) Transmission oil cooling. | |
5 | Detach transmission oil lines from brackets on transmission and engine | Only on vehicles with code (N55) Transmission oil cooling. | |
6 | Disconnect coolant lines between retarder and engine | Only on vehicles with code (BA9) Voith secondary retarder R 115H. | |
7 | Pull plunger out of the clutch release lever | Installation: Grease plunger head. | |
8 | Attach engine hoist to transmission | Attach the engine hoist to both front lifting eyes (1) and rear lifting eyes (2) on the transmission. | |
