without CODE N4W (Live PTO, partly clutch-dependent, MB 1.2)

without CODE N4X (Live PTO, partly clutch-dependent, MB, 1.65)

Manually change gear on transmission (2)

Remove cap (1) from transmission (2).

Turn shift shaft (3) using screwdriver to position (B) or position (C) until the shift shaft (3) latches noticeably into place.

 By doping so, a gear is shifted on the transmission (2).

If the shift shaft (3) fails to engage:

Turn transmission input shaft additionally by hand until the gear engages.

Turn shift shaft (3) using screwdriver to position (A) and by doing so, shift transmission (2) into neutral position.

 After installation, shift transmission (2) back to neutral position.
Otherwise malfunctions may occur when performing teach in for the shift mechanism.

Install cap (1) onto transmission (2).
