Collect coolant which flows out when detaching the hoses and lines.
1 Detach coolant return flow hose of radiator (3) and of heating system (1) at coolant pump (2).
2 Take coolant return flow hose of radiator (3) out of engine compartment with coolant pipe (4) connected.
3 Place coolant return flow hose of heating system (1) to the side.

4 Detach coolant feed hose of radiator (6) and vent line (7) at coolant thermostat housing (5).

5 Separate coupling (8) of coolant feed hose of heating system.
To separate, use a suitable tool, e.g. water pump pliers, to press together cams at the coupling.
6 Attach in the reverse order.
