1 | Open engine hood | See information from vehicle manufacturer. | |
2 | Partially drain coolant and collect it | Installation: Fill coolant up to proper level. | |
3 | Remove coolant thermostat | ||
4 | Remove cylinder head cover (1) | ||
5 | Remove coolant hoses (2, 3) | ||
6 | Remove screw/bolt (5) and remove bracket (4) | ||
7 | Remove screw/bolts (6) | | |
8 | Remove coolant thermostat housing (8) | Check connection fitting between coolant thermostat housing (8) and coolant pump (7); replace if necessary. | |
9 | Remove seal between coolant thermostat (8) and cylinder head | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Check coolant level and correct if necessary | ||
12 | Inspect cooling system for leaks |
