| Use an ohmmeter or test bulb of a maximum 220 V. Non-continuity in the measurement indicates the field is open
|

| Check the continuity between the structure (19) and the field terminal (21).
|
|
| Use an ohmmeter or test bulb of a maximum 220 V. In case of continuity, the field and frame assemblies are grounded.

| Replace the field and structure assembly in case of interruption or grounding.
