Disconnect engine wiring harness
1 Disconnect ground cable at battery (1).
2 Detach starter wiring harness (2) and wiring harness (3) at positive terminal of battery (1).
3 Expose wiring harnesses (2, 3) up to the engine.
4 Unplug connector (5) at pre-glow relay (4) and expose wiring harness.
5 Unplug connectors (7, 8) at CDI control module (9).
6 Separate plug connection (6) in driver footwell.
7 Pull out engine wiring harness (11) up to the engine compartment and expose up to the engine.

8 Detach cable (circuit 30) (14) at starter (13).
9 Connect in the reverse order.
