 	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-W-0003A
2	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-W-1000R
3	Remove air filter (1)		AR09.10-W-1050R
4	Remove air intake duct for fresh air intake		AR83.10-W-3220R
5	Remove clamp (2) from shield (5)	 Installation: Install washer below clamp (2).

6	Remove compressed-air line (3) from engine brake cylinder (4)
7	Remove shield (5)		*BA09.40-N-1007-01B
8	Remove injection line (6) for exhaust aftertreatment system	 Installation: The injection line (6) must be replaced after every removal.	AR14.40-W-2001R
9	Remove injection nozzle (8) from engine brake valve fitting (7)	 Installation: Check injection nozzle (8) and contact surface on engine brake valve fitting (7) for foreign objects and soiling, replace injection nozzle (8) if necessary.

10	Install in the reverse order
