 Warning

Risk of burn injuries and scalding when working at AdBlue lines and the components attached to them. Risk of injury to skin and eyes when handling AdBlue. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing AdBlue

Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Remove the metering unit (1)



Remove the coupling nozzle (6) in the dosing unit (1)

Lift out the filter (3)

 A thin nosed pliers may be used as tool.

Remove the connecting pieces (4)

 Do not re-utilize the connecting pieces (4)

Remove the bolts (5)

 Do not re-utilize the bolts (5).

Clean the mating surfaces on the metering unit (1) and on the coupling opening (6)


Ensure that no dirt between holes:
This may cause the dosing unit to be clogged (1).



Install

Install a new filter (3) in the urea inlet (2)

Insert the new linking pieces (4) in the bores (7) (arrow)

 The new linking pieces (4) are to be pressed in against stop in the bores (7).

Install the coupling opening (6) in the metering unit (1) with new bolts (5)
