Remove/install

Open the engine access cover

Remove the compressed air piping (2) at the metering device (1)

 Plug the hole with a suitable sealant.

 Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust gases treatment system.

 Installation: Before mounting, inspect the compressed air tubing connection (2) for impurities, contaminants and damage.

Remove the filter (3) using a screwdriver (4)

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Install in reverse order.

Start the engine

Check the tightness of the dosing unit (1) with the engine running
