3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector of electric line (3) at electric air pump (M33). | ||
4 | Remove hose (5) from electric air pump (M33). | ||
5 | Remove bolts (4) from electric air pump (M33). | Installation: Ensure ground strap is correctly routed and attached. | |

6 | Remove electric air pump (M33) downward towards rear. | Installation: | |
7 | Remove bolts (2) of bracket of electric air pump (M33). | When replacing electric air pump (M33). | |

| Clean | ||
8 | Check rubber mount bushings of electric air pump (M33) for damage. | Replace if necessary. | |
9 | Check hose (5) for damage. | Replace if necessary. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
11 | Read out and clear fault memory with diagnostic device. | ||
