Remove/install

Remove compressor.

Clamp blocking device (5) into the vise.

 Locking device

Attach compressor to the blocking device (5).

Remove nut (4) from the compressor crankshaft (2).

 Nut (4) with marking (arrow) on the collar has left-hand thread. Nuts (4) with right-hand thread do not have a marking.

 Nut, drive wheel to compressor

Remove drive gear (1) from the compressor.

 If necessary, use a commercially available three-arm puller (3) with a 300 mm span.

Install in the reverse order
