1 | Remove engine cover. | ||

2 | Loosen the poly-V belt (1). | ||
3 | Unscrew the bolt (2) and remove the clamping device (3). | ||
4 | Remove poly-V-belt (1). | ||

5 | Inspect the profiles of the belt pulleys, guide pulley (5) and clamping device (3) for dirt and damage. | If a problem is identified, | |

Clean the relevant part; replace if necessary. | |||
6 | Inspect the poly-V belt (1) for wear and damage. | If a problem is identified, | |

Replace poly-V-belt (1). | |||
| Install | ||
7 | Position the poly-V belt (1). | ||
The poly-V belt (1) must run on the right-hand side of the guide pulley (5). | |||
8 | Align the clamping device (3) and tighten the bolts (2). | Screw, belt tensioner to alternator | |
9 | Remove the locking pin from the clamping device (3) and tension the poly-V belt (1). | ||
10 | Install engine cover. | ||
