1 | Remove fan poly-V belt (1) | ||
2 | Swivel tensioner pulley for clamping device (2) downwards and hold or block with suitable pin | ||
3 | Take off the poly-V belt of the alternator (3) from the belt pulleys | ||
4 | Swivel back tensioner pulley of tensioning device (2) | Only for a clamping device (2) without blocking hole. | |
5 | Press fan forwards and bind on; remove the alternator poly-V belt (3) | ||

6 | Check belt pulley for coolant pump, alternator and tensioner pulley for damage and smooth operation; replace if necessary | ||
7 | Check belt pulley on crankshaft for damage; replace if necessary | ||
8 | Check condition of poly-V belt for alternator (3) | Replace alternator poly-V belt (3); replace if necessary. | |

9 | Press fan towards the front and place poly-V belt for alternator (3) on the belt pulleys | Pay attention to poly-V belt routing plan. | |
10 | Pivot tensioner pulley for tensioning device (2) downward and hold | Only for a clamping device (2) without blocking hole. | |
11 | Fit poly-V belt of generator (3) onto the tensioner pulley of the tensioning device (2) and swivel back the tensioning device (2) again | Ensure that the poly-V belt of the alternator (3) is seated correctly. | |
12 | Install the poly-V belt of the fan (1) |
