Remove/install

Slacken the poly-V belt (2) and remove it from the guide pulley (1).

Remove the screw (3) and remove with the guide pulley (1).

 Remove the screw (3) only from the oil filter.

 Bolt, guide pulley to oil filter (major assembly carrier)

Remove the screw (3) from the washer (5) and remove the guide pulley (1) and then the washer (4).

 Note the sequence of washers (4, 5).



Check

Check guide pulley (1) for wear and damage.

If there is a problem,



replace guide pulley (1).

Install in the reverse order.
