Tilt cab into repair position

Clean area around the resonator (1) and compressor

Remove air intake hose (2) from resonator box (1)

 Installation: Check sealing ring in air intake hose (2) for damage; replace air intake hose (2) if necessary.

Remove bolts (4)

 Screws/bolts, resonator to rocker arm frame, charge air housing and timing case

Remove air intake hose (4) on compressor

 Close off suction opening on compressor.

 Installation: Check sealing ring in air intake hose (4) for damage; replace air intake hose (4) if necessary.

Remove resonator (1)

Install in the reverse order

 Compressor (compressed air system)
