2 | Remove soundproofing upstream of charge air pipe (1) | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connections (2, 4) | ||
4 | Remove electrical wiring harness (10) on charge air pipe (1) and place to one side | ||
5 | Remove charge air hose (6) from flanged pipe socket (5) | Clamp, charge air hose to charge air pipe and charge air cooler | |
6 | Detach hose (8) at exhaust gas recirculation pipe (7) | Clamp, exhaust gas recirculation hose to exhaust gas recirculation cooler or exhaust gas recirculation line | |
7 | Remove charge air pipe (1) from bracket (3) | Bolt, charge air pipe to bracket | |
8 | Remove charge air pipe (1) on charge air distributor (9) | Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |

9 | Remove exhaust gas recirculation pipe (7) on charge air pipe (1) | Only if charge air pipe (1) is replaced. | |

12 | Remove charge air pressure and temperature sensor on charge air pipe (1) | Only if charge air pipe (1) is replaced. | |
Installation: Replace O-ring. | |||
