Remove/install

Remove cylinder head cover.

Remove cover (2).

Disconnect electrical connector (1) from charge air pressure and temperature sensor (7).

Remove the clamp (5).

 Clamp at charge air distributor/charge air pipe

Remove charge-air distributor (3) from cylinder head.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace seals (6) and O-ring on charge air pipe (4).

 Bolt, charge air distributor to cylinder head

Remove charge air pressure and temperature sensor (7).

Only if charge-air distributor (3) was replaced.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces.

 Screw/bolt, pressure and temperature sensor to charge air distributor

Install in the reverse order

 Charge air pipe/charge air cooling
