If a chassis dynamometer is available, carry out test

as specified in para A, otherwise conduct test according to para B.

A Test on chassis dynamometer

1 Rev up vehicle to top speed of a gear.

2 Apply load to dynamometer and read off charge pressure at tester.

B Test without dynamometer

1 Load up vehicle to permissible payload.

2 Conduct simulated road test with different load states (accelerating on hill or sensitive operation of parking brake) and read off charge pressure on HHT.
