3 | Remove bolts (4, 6) on turbocharger (3) noise damper | | |
4 | Remove bracket (5) | To do this remove bolt and pull holder (5) out of guide. | |
5 | Loosen engine charge air duct upstream of charge air cooler | To do this, unscrew by a few turns the upper bolts on the engine charge air duct upstream of the charge air cooler, and push the engine charge air duct slightly to one side; do not remove the charge air hose. | |
6 | Remove turbocharger noise damper (3) with turbocharger (1) engine charge air duct | Clean and seal off connections on turbocharger and on engine charge air duct upstream of charge air cooler to avoid damage to the engine by suctioned in dirt particles. | |
Installation: Replace seal rings and coat with antifriction paste. | |||
