2 | Fold in side deflector on the right | Only if code (FD1) air spoiler with side deflectors is fitted. | |
3.1 | Remove underride guard at the side on the right | Vehicles without code (CB8) Aerodynamic side panels. | |
3.2 | Remove right side paneling | Vehicles with code (CB8) Aerodynamic side panels. | |
4 | Remove step plate at the side on the right | Only on model 375, 944. | |
5 | Remove bracket (5) | Only for code (CB8) Aerodynamic side panels. | |
6 | Disconnect electrical connector(2) at air filter monitoring sensor (B7) | ||
7 | Remove clamp (9) at air intake pipe (3) to turbocharger | Installation: Inspect clamp (9), install new one if necessary. | |
8 | Remove clamp (10) at air intake duct (4) to air filter (1) | The air intake hose (11) remains mounted on the air filter (1). | |
Installation: Inspect clamp (10), install new one if necessary. | |||
9 | Position a suitable jack under the air filter (1) | ||
10 | Remove nuts (7) at holders 6, 8) | ||
11 | Move out air filter (1) with jack | ||
12 | Install in the reverse order |
