 	Remove/install
1	Open engine hood	Model 203	AR88.40-P-1000P
		Model 209	AR88.40-P-1000Q
		Model 211	AR88.40-P-1000T
2	Remove bolts (9)		*BA09.10-P-1001-01C
3	Unclip air guide pipe (1)
4	Detach vacuum line (2)	Model 203, 209
5	Pull out electrical connectors (5, 6) from ME control unit (N3/10)	 Pull sliding catches (4) and remove electrical connectors (5, 6).
6	Pull out electrical connector (3) from hot film MAF sensor
7	Pull out electrical connector of altitude sensor (B18)
8	Detach hose from crankcase ventilation system
9	Slacken hose clamp from air intake pipe (7)	 Installation: Inspect hose clamp, install new clamp if necessary.

10	Take out air filter housing (8)	 Pull up rear air filter housing (8) and push in direction of passenger cell. Lift with screwdriver out of the rubber mounts.
		 Installation: Moisten retaining rubber of air filter housing (8) with liquid lubricant.

11	Install in the reverse order
12	Read out fault memory and erase	 Stored faults which may be caused by assembly work, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
