| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove engine air intake duct (2) upstream of air filter | ||
2 | Open cable tie (4) and expose engine wiring harness (3) | ||
3 | Unclip engine wiring harness (3) on air filter housing (1) | ||
4 | Open clamps and pull out CDI control unit (N3/9) with attached engine wiring harness (3) from bracket and place carefully to one side | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connection at pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/5). | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connection at hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) | ||
7 | Loosen clamp (5) | Installation: Check clamp (5) for damage; replace if necessary. | |
8 | Detach engine air intake duct downstream of air filter on air filter housing (1) | ||
9 | Pull air filter housing (1) upwards and remove | Installation: Check elastomer bearing (6) for correct seating and for damage; replace if necessary. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order |
