 Danger

Risk of explosion due to escaping combustible gas or overheating of gas cylinders.Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes. Risk of frostbite to body parts caused by escaping gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying gas cylinders. Risk of poisoning or suffocation caused by inhaling gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Remove bracket (5) at charge air pipe (4) and release at coolant pump.

 Bracket to coolant pump

Remove clamp (3) and release charge air pipe (4) from charge-air distributor.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces. Replace sealing ring.

Expose electrical connector (2) at charge-air distributor and disconnect.

Remove vent hose (6) at air intake pipe (1).

Remove compressor air intake hose (8) at air intake pipe (1).

Remove air intake pipe (1) at air filter housing air intake hose.

Release clamps at air intake hose (7).

Remove air intake pipe (1) at bracket (9).

Pull out air intake pipe (1) from air intake hose (7) and remove.

10

Install in the reverse order

 Coolant pump, coolant thermostat
