| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove air intake pipe (3) on hot film MAF sensor (B2/12) | ||
2 | Unhook filler pipe (5) on air filter housing (1) and place to one side | ||
3 | Remove air intake pipe (6) on FM (2) | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connection (7) at intake manifold pressure sensor (B28/17) | ||
5 | Hook jump start connector electrical connection (X4/43) onto air filter housing (1) and place to one side | ||
6 | Unclip clamp (8) for electrical wiring harness on air filter housing (1) | ||
7 | Disconnect electrical connection (9) at the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/12) | ||
8 | Remove air filter housing (1) at front from FM (2) (arrow) and pull at the rear out of the guides (4) | Installation: Check retaining rubber (arrows) in FM (2); replace if necessary. | |
9 | Take out air filter housing (1) | ||
10 | Remove hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/12) | When installing a new air filter housing (1). | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |||
11 | Remove intake manifold pressure sensor (B28/17) | When installing a new air filter housing (1). | |
12 | Remove air intake pipe (6) at air filter housing (1) | When installing a new air filter housing (1). | |
13 | Install in the reverse order |
