1 Detach fuel feed line (4) on fuel prefilter (1) connection "VL" (1.1).
Collect escaping fuel.
2 Install test equipment (2) with test lines (2.1) and adapter (3) between fuel feed line (4) and fuel prefilter (1) connection "VL" (1.1).
Check sealing rings at connection (2.2) for damage, replace if necessary. The connection (2.2) with opening arm (arrow) must press on check valve in connection "VL" (1.1).
3 Removing and attaching test equipment (2) on vehicle frame.
4 Start engine, bleed fuel system and let engine run.
5 At maximum governed rpm of 2500 rpm, read off fuel intake pressure at test equipment (2) and compare with "fuel intake pressure upstream of fuel pump at filter supply" test value.
6 Switch off engine.
7 Detach test equipment (2) with test lines (2.1) and adapter (3).
Collect escaping fuel.
8 Attach fuel feed line (4) to fuel prefilter (1) connection "VL" (1.1) .
Install new sealing rings.
