Parameterization

Switch on ignition.

Connect diagnostic unit.

The fine parameterization on the MR/PLD control unit can be performed only with the diagnostic device and a chip card.

Insert chip card, switch on diagnostic device, and select engine model designation.

Select special functions.

Select EOL module for performance correction and confirm with "yes".

In the "Functions" menu, select the menu item "Parameterization" and confirm with the ENTER key.

In the "PLD/MR parameterization" menu, change the equipment code.

 If the engine output is outside of the output tolerance, the engine output can be set to the output tolerance at various engine speeds through fine parameterization of the MR/PLD control unit.
