Warning

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure it with the safety strut.

Warning

Risk of injury caused by pinching and crushing when opening and closing engine hood

No one should be within the swivel range of the engine hood as it is being opened or closed. Always open engine hood all the way to the end position until this engages in the front locks.

Open the engine access cover

Remove side trim (1)

Disconnect the vehicle electric cables (3) at the operating unit (A6)

Separate, connect plug connection of vehicle wiring harness at MR/PLD control module

When disconnecting or connecting the electric wires, the vehicle contact switch must be in the OFF position.

Disconnect the engine electric cables (4) at the operating unit (A6)

When disconnecting or connecting the electric wires, the vehicle contact switch must be in the OFF position.

Unscrew the bolts (2) ans remove the cable support (5), rubber cushions (6) and the operating unit (A6)

Installation: Observe the assembly position of the cushions (6) and cable support (5).
