| Remove/install | ||
| Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge | ||
1 | Turn transmitter key in electronic ignition switch (EIS) control unit to position "0" | ||
2 | Release wiring harness connector (1) and wiring harness connector (2) and detach from ME-SFI control unit (N3/29) | ||
3 | Unscrew bolts (3) and remove from ME-SFI control unit (N3/29) | ||
4 | Install in the reverse order | ||
5 | Perform SCN coding. | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/29). | |
6 | Perform sensor rotor adaptation using STAR DIAGNOSIS | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/29). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory |
