| Notes on avoiding damage through contamination and foreign objects | ||
1 | Remove air filter housing | ||
2 | Remove intake air duct (1) at mass air flow sensor hot film (B2/10) | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) | ||
4 | Unlock hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/10) | To do this carefully pull locks (3) upwards to avoid damage. Do not damage grid net. | |
5 | Tilt hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/10) to the rear and remove | Do not damage clamp on flap fitting (4). | |
Installation: Correctly engage clamp on flap fitting (4) to avoid malfunctions. | |||
| Checking | ||
6 | Check seal (5), replace if necessary. | ||
7 | Check locks (3) and clamp on flap fitting (4) | In case of damage the complete component must be replaced each time. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order |
