Perforated cover

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Clean

Remove nozzle holder assembly (1).

Fill high-performance ultrasound cleaning equipment (2) with cleaning fluid and heat up to 60 °C.

 Mix cleaner with water in the ratio 1:2 and pour in up to the marking.
Filling capacity approx. 1.5 l.

Insert perforated cover (3) into the high-performance ultrasound cleaning equipment (2) and place nozzle holder assembly (1) vertically into the perforated cover (3).

Switch on high-performance ultrasound cleaning equipment (2) and clean nozzle holder assembly (1).

 Observe notes from the manufacturer.

Install nozzle holder assembly (1).

Install nozzle holder assembly (1) no later than 4 hours after cleaning.
Otherwise, corrosion of the needle can cause the nozzle holder assembly (1) to malfunction.

Start engine immediately after installing the nozzle holder assembly (1) and allow engine to run.

 The fuel system is ventilated automatically.

Switch off engine.
