1 Place dial gage holder (1) onto the crankcase.
2 Insert dial gage (2) so that the tracer pin (3) is positioned on the camshaft sprocket (4).
Insert dial gage (2) with preload.
3 At the dial gage (2) set scale to "0".
4 Move camshaft up and down, determine axial play.
