For a bearing with an inside diameter of 18 mm to 23 mm, use internal extractor 000 589 26 33 00. For a bearing with an inside diameter of 22 mm to 28 mm, use internal extractor 000 589 27 33 00. For a bearing with an inside diameter of 28 mm to 37 mm, use internal extractor 000 589 28 33 00.

1 | Insert internal extractor (1) into guide bearing (2) and expand internal extractor (1). |
Expand internal extractor (1) by unscrewing nut (3); counterhold internal extractor (1) in the process. Do not clamp internal extractor (1) in guide bearing (2). |

2 | Tighten counter stay (4) on internal extractor (1) and support counter stay (4) on flywheel (5). |
3 | Pull guide bearing (2) and, if applicable, retaining ring (6) with counter stay (4) and internal extractor (1) out of flywheel (5). |
Retaining ring (6) from engine end number 779068. Retaining ring (6) is destroyed during removal. |

4 | Clean bore and, if applicable, groove (7) in flywheel (5) and blow out with compressed air. |
