Remove screw/bolts (1) for flywheel/drive plate (2)

Do not use any impact wrench/driver or a similar compressed air tool to screw the screw/bolts (1) in and out.
Otherwise the thread in the crankshaft flange will be damaged.

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (1) and tighten evenly cross-wise.

 Bolt, flywheel or two-mass flywheel to crankshaft

Slacken screw/bolts (1)

Do not use an impact wrench/driver or a similar compressed air tool to unfasten the screw/bolts (1).
Otherwise the thread in the crankshaft flange will be damaged.

 Unfasten screw/bolts (1) as per figure in alphabetic sequence (a to h).

 Bolt, flywheel or two-mass flywheel to crankshaft

Remove screws/bolts (1) and take off flywheel/drive plate (2) with perforated disc (4)

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (1) and perforated disc (4).

 Installation: Tighten screw/bolts (1) as per figure in alphabetic sequence (a to h).

Remove the flywheel/drive plate (2)

 Installation: The cylinder pin prescribes the installation position for flywheel/drive plate (2).

Check pilot bearing (3)

In a case of noisy or rough running and wear



Replace flywheel/clutch plate (2).

Check rear radial shaft sealing ring for leaktightness and damage

In case of a complaint



Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring.
