1.1 | Remove air conditioning system refrigerant compressor poly-V-belt. | Engine 177 in model 205 | |
1.2 | Remove power-steering pump poly-V-belt. | Engine 178 in model 190 | |
1.3 | Remove poly-V-belt for power-steering pump and refrigerant compressor. | Engine 176 in model 463 | |
2 | Remove alternator poly-V-belt. | ||
3 | Remove center screw (2). | Installation: Install new central bolt (2). | |

4 | Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (1) from crankshaft. | Installation: Place belt pulley/vibration damper (1) on crankshaft and rotate to ensure that the dowel pin (3) in the groove on the belt pulley/vibration damper (1). | |

5 | Check front radial shaft sealing ring (4) for damage. | If damage is present, | |

Install new front radial shaft sealing ring (4). | |||
6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

7 | Perform engine test run and check engine for leak tightness. |
