Wet the bolts (1 to 16) for the crankshaft bearing caps (A, B, C, D) on the thread and bolt head contact surface with engine oil.

Tighten the bolts (1 to 16) for the crankshaft bearing caps (A, B, C, D) as per the tightening procedure. Model 639, 906 Model 470, 471 .
Note the tightening torque for the bolts (1 to 16).

Tighten the side bolts (1.1 to 8.1) for the crankcase on the crankshaft bearing caps (A, B, C, D) as per the tightening procedure. Model 639, 906 Model 470, 471 .
Note the tightening torque for the bolts (1.1 to 8.1).

Rotate the crankshaft and ensure that it can move unobstructed.
If there is a problem,
Remove the crankshaft bearing caps (A, B, C, D) one after the other and determine the cause.
