3  Retaining locking

 	Removing and installing
1	Install the locking device with special tool (3) for the crankshaft / starter ring gear.	 Use screws M6 X 90 as otherwise the threads of the rear sealing cover would be damaged.	AR03.30-S-5000A
2	Remove the ribbed pulley /vibration damper.	 Check the ballrace of the bushing for running impressions	AR03.30-S-1600A
3	With the aid of a screwdriver, push the radial retainer of the crankshaft (2) outwards	 Pay attention not to damage the crankshaft and the hole which houses the radial retainer of the crankshaft (2). Use a clean cloth as support.
		 Assembly: Install the front radial retainer of the crankshaft.	AR03.20-S-3000-01A

4	The assembly is done in reverse order
5	Check the waterproofness	 Check the waterproofness after cleaning and drying surrounding area.
