Remove/install

Remove timing case.

Turn crankshaft (2) until the markings (arrows) of the crankshaft gear (1) and camshaft sprocket (5) coincide.

  Screw centering drift (4) into two opposing threaded holes on the crankshaft (2) and turn the crankshaft (2) using a suitable lever.

Pull crankshaft gear (1) off the crankshaft (2).

 Installation: Markings (arrows) on crankshaft gear (1) and camshaft sprocket (5) must be positioned opposite each other.

Check dowel pin (3) for wear.

If wear is present,



replace dowel pin (3).

Install in the reverse order
