The piston is on the piston crown and the cylinder liner on the collar are marked with the letters B, C, D or E.
- The cylinder liner is marked with a letter, either B, C, D or E, and the piston with a group of letters such as BC, BCD, CDE or DE.
- A piston and a cylinder liner which have the same capital letter belong together dimensionally such as piston BC and cylinder liner B or piston CDE and cylinder liner D.
- In case of an emergency it is also possible for piston BC to be installed in cylinder liner C or piston CDE in cylinder liner C or E.
