Determine the end gap of the piston rings (1, 2, 3)

Check piston rings (1, 2, 3)

In the event of damage or breakouts of the coating



replace piston ring (1), piston ring (2), or piston ring (3).



Install

Install piston rings (1, 2, 3) with pliers on piston (4)

 Note the installation position of piston rings (1, 2, 3). Install piston rings (1, 2, 3) with the piston ring end gaps offset by 120°.
