1 | Remove cylinder head (1) | ||
2 | Take guide (2) off support plate (3) and place cylinder head (1) onto support plate (3) | | |
3 | Unscrew plug (4) and take off seal (5) | ||
4 | Remove piston (6) together with radial seal (7) | | |
5 | Take radial seal (7) off piston (6) | ||
6 | Press together compression spring (8) over the top spring retainer (9) and take out locking wedges (10) | After removing the locking wedges, carefully release the pressure on the spring. | |
7 | Take out top spring retainer (9), compression spring (8) and bottom spring retainer (11) | ||
8 | Take cylinder head (1) off the support plate and turn over | ||
9 | Take out valve (12) | ||

10 | Insert valve (12) into the cylinder head (1) | The valve crown must be convex in shape, the constant throttle valve when in the off position ends flush with the sealing surface of the cylinder head. If necessary, replace valve. | |
11 | Mount cylinder head (1) onto support plate (3) | | |
12 | Place bottom spring retainer (11), compression spring (8) and top spring retainer (9) onto the stem of the valve (12) | The spring retainers (9) and (11) must not be mixed up. The upper valve spring cap is identified by a groove. | |
13 | Insert locking wedges (10) into the top spring retainer (9) | ||
14 | Press the upper spring cap (9) to compress the spring (8), continuing until the collets (10) snap into place. | | |
15 | Install radial seal (7) at piston (6) | ||

17 | Tighten screw plug (4) together with seal (5) | Use new seal. | |
