| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove oil pan bottom section. | ||
2 | Install engine support fixture and slightly lift engine. | ||
3 | Remove screws of engine mounts at front axle carrier. | Screw/bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier | |

4 | Lift engine with engine support fixture. | | |
5 | Remove soundproofing at oil pan (1). | ||
6 | Unclip electric line (3) at oil pan (1). | ||
7 | Remove screws (2) in reverse order to tightening procedure. | Oil pan tightening procedure | |
Bolt, oil pan top section to crankcase/lower crankcase section | |||
8 | Remove oil pan (1) downward and collect escaping engine oil with a rag. | Installation: Replace molded seal and O-ring. | |
9 | Clean sealing surfaces on the oil pan (1) and crankcase lower section. | Assembly cleaner | |
10 | Install in the reverse order. |
