1 Unscrew Allen head bolt (1) to timing case cover

2 Unscrew bolts (4) from oil pan (3) in area of timing case cover (2)
3 Loosen all other bolts on oil pan (3).

4 Unscrew bolts (5 and 6) and carefully remove timing case cover (2).
Do not damage cylinder head and oil pan gasket. Replace cylinder head or oil pan gasket if damaged

5 Remove sealing rings (7) from timing case cover (2).
Installation: Thinly coat new sealing rings (7) with silicone and acid-free grease and install on timing case cover (2).
6 Thoroughly clean sealing surfaces on timing case cover (2) and coat with sealant.
7 Install in the reverse order.
Observe tightening torques.
